Lorraine Avery-Easterwood, Secretary

Lorraine joined the League in 2020. She wanted to get involved in the community while building friendship with a diverse group of women. Lorraine has served on the Public Policy & Advocacy, Communications and Recruiting Committees. These placements have allowed Lorraine to sharpen her skillset and become more comfortable in being a leader. 

Professionally, Lorraine works in Risk Management at Sallie Mae Bank. She holds Dual Masters degrees in Jurisprudence of Corporate and Business Law with a concentration in Regulatory Analysis and Compliance and an MBA from Delaware Law School and Widener University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilkes University. 

Lorraine currently lives in Middletown with her husband, stepson, and two cats, Chuckles & Tina. Outside of the League, Lorraine is active in the Rugby community where she currently plays for Wilmington Women’s Rugby Football Union, as well as serving on numerous boards with Rugby Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union, and Senior Club Council – Governance Committee. She was recently hired as the MARC D2 Women’s Collegiate Rugby Coordinator for the upcoming rugby calendar year 2023-2024. Lorraine enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
