Jill joined the Junior League of Wilmington in January 2017 as she was looking for a way to become more involved with the community and meet new people.
While in the League, Jill has spent time as the Member Activities Chair for two years, and a member of the Centennial Committee as she enjoys planning events. Last year, Jill joined the Grants and Annual Fund Committee to gain a better understanding of the process of applying for grants as well as fundraising. She hopes to use this knowledge she gained from the Committee and carry it over into her career.
This year, she is taking on a role that she is very passionate about- VP of Community Programs. Jill is a Teacher and Resident of Wilmington and is thrilled to have the opportunity to take what she has learned through working with her students and families as well as living within the community to help expand our outreach.
Jill grew up in North Central Pennsylvania, attended Millersville University for her Bachelors, Wilmington University for her Master’s and has lived in Delaware for over 10 years. She currently lives in Wilmington with her dog, Roger. Jill loves to walk and listen to audiobooks and goes on different trails almost daily. In addition, she likes to garden, cook, bake, paint, and spend time with family and friends as well as travel to the Finger Lakes.
