Jess works in Marketing and Sales at Sepax Technologies, a biological separation company. The science industry is new for her, but she enjoys the challenge of learning something new.
Jess currently serves as the President of the Board, as well as a member of Issue-Based Community Impact and Diversity & Inclusion Task Forces.
For most of her League career, Jess has focused on Ways & Means, as a Fund Development member, Fund Development Chair, and Vice President of Ways & Means. She also served one year as Vice President of Communications and Administration before becoming President-elect. The Fund Development Chair position has been her favorite placement so far- we’ll see how this year goes 🙂
The League has continued to give her the confidence, training, and space to try new things and she is excited to continue to learn and grow this year! As President, she hopes to continue the amazing legacy the League and its members have upheld for more than 100 years.
Jess grew up in a small rural Maryland town, attended Towson University, and has lived in Delaware for over 10 years. She currently lives in Newark with her husband, Ben, and their cat, Dexter.
Jess and her husband have a goal to visit every state (25 so far!) and attend a baseball game at every MLB stadium (14 so far!).
