Heidi Williams

Always interested in volunteering, giving back to the community, and developing new relationships with like-minded women, Heidi joined the Junior League of Wilmington in 2021. Her first experience with the League was serving on the Communications Committee. She then became the Communications Committee Chair for the 2022 – 2023 League year. These placements gave her confidence and sharpened her knowledge and ability for her current role as VP of Communications. She is very excited to increase the level of communication and awareness of the League’s mission and activities, both within the League and among the public. 

Professionally, Heidi is the Director of Client Services for Analytical Biological Services. A privately-owned Delaware company, ABS provides biological samples to pharmaceutical scientists on a global scale to support preclinical drug discovery research. Her role oversees the Client Services Department, which manages clients’ expectations and satisfaction of their orders. Heidi has been with ABS since 2009 after graduating with a M.Sc. in Marine Sciences. 

After growing up in Newark, DE, Heidi left the state to pursue her education. She returned 12 years later after earning her Master’s degree and now lives in the same area with her cat, Po. When she is not working or involved with League events, she loves to travel, read, craft and, most of all, spend time with family and friends.
