New Members will meet at our Headquarters once per month from August through December 2026, building connections, learning about the League, and preparing for Active Membership. Following completion of the class, Members will transition to Active status in January 2027.

Period.  And commemorate the transition of this important work to the Delaware Dignity Project, whose mission will ensure these efforts continue to thrive across Delaware!

Over the years, Stand Up. Period. has provided essential menstrual hygiene supplies to members of our community through our period supplies bank, and countless collection and distribution efforts. The Delaware Dignity Project is a community-driven initiative dedicated to empowering women by providing menstrual hygiene products and other often overlooked necessities crucial for comfort, confidence, and well-being.

This event is an opportunity to honor the dedication, generosity, and service that made this initiative such a meaningful success, while proudly introducing the Delaware Dignity Project and the continued future of this vital work.

Join us for an evening of reflection, gratitude, and celebration as we recognize the Junior League of Wilmington’s collective accomplishments. Celebrate the legacy of Stand Up. Period. and help us send this initiative forward as its impact continues to live on through the Delaware Dignity Project.

The Junior League of Wilmington is proud to recognize Kyle Evans Gay for her exceptional leadership and lasting impact on both our organization and the broader Delaware community. In 2026, Kyle was honored as one of the Association of Junior Leagues International’s “40 Under 40,” a distinction that celebrates rising leaders making meaningful change in their communities.

Kyle has been a long-standing, dedicated member of the JLW, serving as President during the 2019–20 League year. During her leadership, she demonstrated a strong commitment to the League’s mission and helped launch Stand Up Period, expanding access to essential menstrual products for those in need throughout our community.

Beyond the League, Kyle’s service as Delaware’s Lieutenant Governor highlights her continued dedication to public service and improving the lives of Delawareans. Kyle’s recognition as a “40 Under 40” honoree is a testament to her ongoing efforts to lead with purpose and create lasting change. She continues to inspire those around her through her dedication to service and her vision for the future.

The Rotary Club of Wilmington, Delaware, is a prominent local chapter of Rotary International. As of early 2026, the club continues its mission of “Service Above Self” through weekly meetings, local grants, and humanitarian projects.

This is an interactive session where you will practice what you learn.
