Lindsay Lancaster

Lindsay Lancaster is the Program Manager at Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids (HFHK). She is passionate about outdoor education and bringing school vegetable gardens to urban areas. Lindsay models garden lessons, trains Kindergarten-8th grade teachers in garden-based curriculum, coordinates the volunteer program, and assists with PR, fundraising, and strategic planning initiatives. Prior to her position at HFHK, Lindsay volunteered as a Public Ally and was a third-grade teacher at Green Woods Charter School, a school with an environmentally integrated curriculum.

From Community Impact to Whale of a Sale, to Nominating, Lindsay has served on a diversity of committees within the League. Outside of the League, Lindsay currently serves as the Secretary and Mini-Grant Chair of the Delaware Association for Environmental Education board and is also a member of the Delaware Urban Farm and Food Coalition steering committee. She previously served as Secretary of the Philadelphia Canoe Club and Grants Committee Co-Chair for Next Generation North of the Delaware Community Foundation.

Lindsay is part of the Wilmington Rowing Center (WRC) Women’s crew team, so you might see her if you pass by the Wilmington riverfront. She loves travel, adventure, the outdoors, and challenging herself to get out of her comfort zone. She looks forward to the challenge of being Treasurer and strategically using our finances to fuel our mission!
