Katie Blank

Katie is the 2019/2020 Nominating Chair. This is her second year being a part of nominating. Her past roles in the Junior League of Wilmington included Kitchen Tour Vice-Chair and Whale of a Sale member. She also leads the Issue-Based Community Impact Task Force, which is developing JLW’s new focus area of Period Equity.

Professionally, Katie is an Industrial Engineer at Procter and Gamble. She currently manages the production planning, supply chain initiatives, and materials departments at the Dover Pamper’s Baby Wipes Production Plant. In her past, she has also managed the supply chain for Bounty, Charmin, and Puffs. She also leads the Women in Manufacturing organization and United Way Campaign.

Katie moved to Wilmington with her boyfriend Sam and her dog Bella in 2016 from Nashville, TN where she was also a member of the Junior League. She grew up in Latrobe, PA and attended Penn State University. In her free time, Katie and her dog enjoy volunteering with Paws for People where they visit patients and staff at Wilmington hospital and read with children at local libraries. She is also a certified Sommelier III and enjoys visiting new vineyards.
